Barack Obama took questions from the crowd in Salem, Oregon on Friday, March 21, 2008. A woman asked Senetor Obama to summarize, in a nutshell, what distinguishes him from Hillary Clinton for friends who are on the fence.
One thing I think that is indicative of the integrity and character of Senator Obama is that, before he gave the bullet points as to why one should vote for Barack Obama, he chose to praise Senator Clinton. Calling her “smart, capable and tenacious” going further to state that “she would be a vast improvement over the status quo”.
Show me another politician who is willing to point out the pros of an opponent.

Barack Obama gave a speech today that addressed difficult topics that most politicians would stay as far away from as possible. He has taken a stance and brought issues to the table that only reaffirms why people support Barack Obama.
His candor and ability to speak about race in America in a way that does not bring up resentment, rehash old issues, or only promote that one side is right over another truly causes one to give pause and think about the issue in a uniting way instead of a dividing way. Barack Obama for President!
